I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were a bit stifling with paint fumes but had good blackout blinds, a luxurious jacuzzi bath, and a dark unventilated bathroom. The service was top-notch, especially the efficient housekeeping and convenient laundry services. The location in the Nithsdale valley was just stunning, offering a quiet and peaceful retreat. The dining experience with homemade jams was a unique touch. Despite the facilities being well-kept, the price was a bit on the higher side.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the town, surrounded by beautiful surroundings and a decent pub nearby. The rooms, although with a dark unventilated bathroom, are equipped with both spa and jacuzzi baths. The service is efficient, offering housekeeping and laundry services; however, the airport shuttle is available for an additional fee. Dining includes a selection of local cold cuts, and the facilities are well-maintained.
